Performance of AI algorithms is sensitive to various design decisions, which creates a considerable bottleneck for new users to deploy such methods in practice. Automated machine learning (AutoML) aims to make these decisions in an automated way using prior knowledge. In our chair, we have various open thesis topics in AutoML such as hyperparameter optimisation, algorithm configuration, algorithm selection, performance prediction and more.
